“Whatever you think is so complicated, isn’t. I loved seeing her think more of herself and what she wanted throughout this story. She’s hardworking and is determined to keep her company going, but it’s also part downfall, because she doesn’t really let herself relax. But she tries to make the best of it and finally agrees to go on a blind date. He’s seeing other people, so why shouldn’t she? I have to say if I were here I would’ve spoken up real soon about that arrangement. This may have also be the reason her and her fiance are kind of taking a break while he’s in England. Georgia is a hardworking business owner and her company is her everything. She created characters that seemed realistic and she left a smile on my face when I finished the book. It sucked me right into the story and I didn’t want to stop reading when I got to work (this was my work commute book). I have to start off by saying I love Vi Keeland’s writing. Though, you know what they say about the best-laid plans. Things couldn’t get too serious when we had an expiration date. Max proposed we spend the summer helping me forget my ex. It sounded like a good plan.

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.īefore he left, he slipped me a ticket to a hockey game a few blocks away, in case things didn’t work out on my actual date. He only pretended to be until my real date showed up. Turned out, Max wasn’t who I was there to meet. Max was insanely gorgeous, funny, and our chemistry was off the charts. He also had the biggest dimples I’d ever laid eyes on.
